mmmmm.... strawberries


The minute I saw Taylor's sketch this morning, I knew I wanted to play along.  It's unique and a challenge, for sure!  I was looking through my stamps that haven't seen ink lately, and I saw Berries & Cherries and thought those berries would be perfect this week with all the springtime weather we've been having.  Lots of time has been spent at the park and it has been wonderful!  I layered the little strawberry brad in a large button and then added more little buttons to keep the balance.

paper: prism island mist light, prism intense kiwi, choice snow white cardstock, doodlebug patterned paper
ink: real red, pretty in pink, memento tuxedo black
accessories: tutti fruitti boutique brads, green polka dot organdy ribbon, scallop edge punch, circle/scallop nestabilities, material girl buttons (cosmo cricket), embroidery thread

  11. Love this card. I have this sentiment and you motivated me to get busy with it and some cute berry DSP. I like how you did a stamp image under the sentiment in a lighter color. Really nice!
