Welcome to day THREE of MFT Teasers!  Today, the gang is featuring Complimentary Greetings and Clearly Sentimental about Art.

I've made a card using Complimentary Greetings, which is the Triple Scoop set for June.

The Triple Scoop reward is a full-sized stamp set offered to you absolutely FREE with a qualifying purchase of $60 or greater (before shipping and tax).  The set changes with each monthly release, and is not yet available for individual purchase, so there is always a good reason to spoil yourself with MFT!
  • Simply add the Triple Scoop product to your cart using the add to cart button, and it will be shipped with your order.
  • The Triple Set set can be combined with our Cherry on Top promotion as well for even greater savings!
  • PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to add Triple Scoop sets to your order once it is placed.  You will not receive it unless it is added to your cart.

I started by stamping the greeting in Brilliance Graphite Black on some Follow Your Heart Be Happy 6x6 paper from My Mind's Eye.  I used a Circle STAX 2 Die-namics to cut out the sentiment circle and then cut out another circle in Black Licorice Cardstock with a Circle STAX 1 Die-namics.  I created my own background using the new Hexagons Die-namics - I cut the background hexagons in Black Licorice cardstock and then the smaller hexagons in various scraps of the Be Happy papers and randomly attached them over the black.  I really like how it looks and I can't wait to try different things with these layering Hexagons Die-namics!   I used the Mini Rolled Roses Die-namics dies to create the layered roses and I added a few black pearls for a little punch.  The layout is Jen Shults' DS54.

On the inside of the card, I created my own layered label using the new Designer Labels 2 STAX Die-namics along with a Circle STAX 2 Die-namics and then I stamped the greeting on one of the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for a complete list of all the designers playing along in today's Teaser.

Here are the Die-namics I used today:

Welcome to day TWO of MFT Teasers!  Today, the gang is featuring Inspired by Travel and Fred Bear and the Pinwheel.

I've made a card using Fred Bear and the Pinwheel.

I love Fred and his little pinwheel and how perfectly does he match this On the Sunny Side paper??  Love it!  I cut out some Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics in Wild Cherry and Choice Buttercream cardstock and then stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black.  He's colored with Copic markers and I paper pieced his pinwheel with the same patterned papers and added a little red button to the Chevron Stripes Die-namics.  The layout is from Splitcoaststampers' SC385.

On the inside of my card, I used the new Square STAX 1 & 2 Die-namics to cut out the cardstock for a personal note.

I did my usual zigzag stitching and added another Chevron Stripes Die-namics strip along the bottom.

Hop on over to the MFT Blog for a complete list of designers who are participating in today's Teaser.

Here are the Die-namics I used today:

recipe -
stamps: fred bear and the pinwheel
paper: sno cone (mft), wild cherry (mft), choice buttercream (te), on the sunny side 6x6 (my mind's eye)
ink: memento tuxedo black
accessories: copic markers, yellow pearls (kaisercraft), rectangle stax 1 & 2/chevron stripes/square stax 1 & 2 die-namics dies (mft), brights buttons (su!), buttercream twine (mft), sewing machine, thread, foam tape

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club

Hello!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun sketch challenge from MFT!  Here's a look at the sketch:

I made a card using Pure Innocence Home Sweet Home.

I started by cutting out the Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics in choice buttercream cardstock, and then I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her with Copic markers.  I love the layered rolled rose look, so I tried this technique with the Rolled Mum Die-namics and I adore how it looks!  I started rolling the pink polka-dot Farmhouse (October Afternoon) mum and once the petals started curling in, I added a the cream cardstock mum and rolled them together.  I kept the flower pretty loose so I could add the button in the center.  The sentiment is stamped on the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics and I used the Simply Scallops Small Die-namics along the bottom edge of the yellow paper.  And the layered Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-namics are underneath.

The inside of my card is simply stamped and stitched.

Don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for a complete list of the designers playing along in this week's challenge and learn how to win some MFT goodies!

Here are the Die-namics I used today:

Welcome to day ONE of MFT Teasers!  Today, the gang is featuring a new Who's That Girl set - this is Godspeed.

I did a little paper piecing with this image - I started by stamping the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some cork paper from the Note to Self 6x6 paper pack from Echo Park and that laid out the cork background.  Then I stamped it again on white cardstock and again on some darker paper from the Note to Self pack.  I colored the jacket with Copics to add some shading and to tone the pattern down a little bit.  I added some stars using the new Star STAX Die-namics and stamped the sentiment on one of the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics dies.  I ran the Notched Border Die-namics die through my Vagabond to make 2 borders and then I sewed them together (sort of) using some large zigzag stitches.  The layout is Sweet Stop's SSS160.

For the inside of my card, I stamped the bold sentiment on more of the cork paper, the letters in Memento Tuxedo Black and the heart in Memento Lady Bug.

The tag is one of the soon-to-be-released Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics and then I made the hole at the top by layering the small dies from Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-namics.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 158 Winner

Hello and Happy Memorial Day to my friends in the US.  I love a 3-day weekend and today we are busy just hanging out as a family.  Maybe a little trip to the pool too?  But most importantly, it is the day we remember those who fought and died for our country, who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

I'm here to announce the next Sweet Sunday Sketch Guest Stamper and before I do, I'd like to show some of my favorites from the group.  It was TOUGH this week!  I really could have had 15 favorites, you all rocked this sketch!

I love the orange, green and yellow color combo - it's so warm and summery and the little daisy accent and sentiment are such a fun touch!

I adore the birdhouse hanging down from the top of the card and through the clouds and the brown stitching is fantastic!

Tracy's card is darling, using a fun rolled rose and sprigs of green - and I love the twine bow on the sentiment in the corner!

I'm loving the added ribbon with the rolled flower and the gorgeous paper combo.  I love the black twine!

I love the embossed papers and the sentiment hanging from the bright orange bow - what a fab color combo too!

AND the winner is.....

Tracy!!

Congrats, Tracy!  I'll be in touch soon with the sketch and your sketch badge.

See you back this weekend for a new challenge, and remember, there is still plenty of time to get your entries in for SSSC159 - the link closes on Friday night.
