When we were setting up the booth at CHA last month we were looking through the Baker's Dozen card samples and Melissa Sauls had this really cute stamp on the back of her cards and I didn't! Yes, I often want what other people have, it's just a sickness really. Anyway... when I got home I was looking for a company that would take custom images and make them into stamps - I found RubberStamps.net and the process started. I have a little logo I made for my Etsy shop and so I wanted a variation of this to be the image for my cards and LOOK -
Tee Hee!!! I Lurve It!! See, there's my little birdie :D
The bummer of it is, well - take a look...
Who the heck cut the rubber out and mounted this thing??? (Oh wow, that sounded really dirty...) Needless to say, it still stamps like a dream, so I'm cool with it. Maybe... haha! Yes, I'm loving it - seriously! Can you tell?
Edited: It was only $10 including shipping!!

don't look at the bottom. It'd perfect.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever met another stamper who has to have something someone else has, let me think on it.
LOL, every time we'd go to a SU party, me and my buddies would end up with most of the same sets and the demo would always say, why don't you get different sets and share. As if we could do that.
That is SUPER COOL!!!!! How much did it cost? I want one...of course I'd need a logo first!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Oh Karen! You cracked me up with those "dirty" references!!! LOL!!!! That looks awesome!!! I am with Jami - I want one but I think I need a logo too first!!! Lurve it girl!!!
ReplyDeleteI lurve it too! And Chris' comment made me laugh- as if we could share! Ha!
ReplyDeleteHow fun :D Thanks for the link. Now all we need is you to give us a tutorial in Photoshop on how to create your own logo LOL! It looks great!
ReplyDeletegorgeous, karen.
ReplyDeleteyou must be so thrilled.
but it's too bad about the ugly backside...baha!!! ;)
Well I think I have the same sickness my dear Karen, because I want one too!!!
ReplyDeletePersonalized stamp-CHECK!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! I WANT ONE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome stamp! IF you wanted to correct the cutting - tidy it up a bit - you can put the stamp in the microwave to 10 SECONDS to loosen it and peal it from the block ....tidy it up...and stick it back down. I've had to do this a number of times when I've wanted to recut some of my SU stamps. Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteHey Karen you could make (and sell) logos for all us crafty girls and then we could have a stamp just like you :) Just saying...
ReplyDeleteCute!! I already have several personalized stamps, but I want this one, too! LOL! I agree with Laural, you should so sell logos!
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful......but now I want one. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Thought about doing one myself, but don't think I could make it look as good as yours!
ReplyDeleteI want one, toooooooooo!! I will be your best friend if you make me a logo!! SNORT!!!
ReplyDeleteSooo love it! I'm going to have to get one.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! That looks amazing! Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteKaren, thanks for the great belly laugh at your 'mounting' reference! ~lol~ You make such great watermarks...now you can go into the logo business, too, and make us all really happy and it would be 'the sweetest thing'!
ReplyDeletewow... thanks... I love it but will take my watermarks you made for me... but I'm french and it's difficult to understand all on the website you give to us...
ReplyDeleteThanks.... it's faboulous
Love it. Love it. Love it..... I ordered one for myself. Was tempted to use the watermark you made for me, but didn't know if you would be ok with that so did something else.... THANKS for the link!
ReplyDeleteThis is really sweet. I was just thinking today that I need to get a new stamp for the back of my cards that has my blog on it, and this is super nice (and affordable!) Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteoh wow, love the stamp. Never mind the bottom of it hehe, it looks fab when it stamps :)
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot.
ReplyDeletexo, Marian
Just like you I also want what everyone else has in the paper crafting world...it is a true sickness...ummmm wonder if there's medication for this disease???? LOL
ReplyDeleteThe stamp is so cute and certainly suits you. Good for you!
Can we submit our watermarks that you created for us to be made into stamps?
ReplyDeleteYep! I agree with several above - you COULD sell logos! Then we could get stamps like this too.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought....
Me, three! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh I just LOVE this stamp!!!! Now THAT is super fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh!! I'd totally be the same way. If it looks great on the fron, it has to look great on the back, too. What the deuce?!?!?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh! I needed that! LOL...This is great! I have to check out the site. Oh, and it was great meeting you at CHA! I was in the booth for Clear and Simple Stamps!
ReplyDeleteI love your stamp and of course want one for myself. How do I do the fun font? and what stamp did you do, the wood one? I need a program I guess to do my name and symbol in. Thanks for your help
