sweet sunday sketch challenge 55

Good morning - It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use the Mr. Linky box down at the end of my post to enter your card. On Thursday at 10 PM (Mountain Time), I'll randomly select one card to feature on my blog. So, as long as your card is linked in the Mr. Linky box by 10 PM Thursday, your card will be in the drawing. Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC55 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

Today is my dear sweet little boy's 4th birthday and we're celebrating by watching the Superbowl - haha!  Don't worry, we're still having cake and presents today, but the big party will be next Sunday - Valentine's Day.  Sweet little boy!!  Love him!  So what kind of card do you make a 4-year-old?  Well, the kind you can recycle the bits and pieces, that's what!  Yes, after he opens my card and tosses it aside to rip open the much anticipated present that awaits him, I'll be ripping those buttons off to use again on another card.  haha!

The Sweet Sunday Stampers have samples to show you today, so don't forget to stop on by to see:

Have fun!
Karen

  1. Too cute Karen! Happy Birthday to the little man! And I TOTALLY do that too - even the cards I make for Joel (DH), I'll rip off the buttons, ribbon, etc. He doesn't even notice! :-)

  2. That is too funny! I feel the same way when I give the girls cards. My oldest just loves all the bling and metal, yet I find it laying around, begging to get recycled! This is so fabulous...I dare you to tear it apart!

I love your designs and am inspired by your creations. I love to stamp and also write a blog about early literacy. Being retired is busier than when I worked full time....but now I have the time to stamp and write!

  22. I loved this sketch but didn't get around to posting my stab at it until today (and I also linked to your blog in my post), so I realize I'm late here. I just thought I'd say thanks and share the link in case you wanted to take a peek at what I did with it. Thanks! ;)
