I'm back this morning with another peek at 4th of July Word a la Carte

I used the 4th of July Project Pantry Kit for my card today, along with Jen's DS55 for the cute layout.  I started by layering the papers from the kit together and then picked the striped patterned paper to make my pinwheel from the Pinwheel Parade Dies.  I stamped the image in Brilliance Graphite Black ink and then colored it with Copic Markers.  I used the small star from the Pinwheel Parade Dies and used it for the 'O' in of and then paper pieced the 'F' in Buttercream cardstock.

Here's a closer look at the pinwheel:

Don't forget to stop on over to see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen have for you today:

recipe -

  1. what a fun patriotic card! I love all the details...the star for the o and the brad in the center of the star, how you colored the sparkle and the gemstone in the middle of the sparkle. Great job! TFS

  2. Nice, festive, patriotic card! Like the piecing and your cute pinwheel. :)

  3. Pinwheel perfection! Cool layout and love how you combined all those papers - it's a gorgeous card! Happy weekend!

  4. LOVE this Karen! That pinwheel is gorgeous... I really like the layered centers and the star as the OF in the sentient below. GORGEOUS!
