Hi! It's time for another fabulous MFT sketch to get that crafty mojo kicking in. First, here is a look at the sketch:
This week I used Pure Innocence Good Fortune -
Pin It
I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Choice Snow White cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I stamped her again on On the Bright Side Two 6x6 papers from My Mind's Eye and then paper pieced her kimono. Since her shape is more square, I decided to let her be the focal point and fussy-cut her out and placed her directly over the patterned paper. I used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics to cut out the sentiment flag and then I added some Mini Rolled Roses Die-namics in Blue Skies Felt in the corner with Sour Apple Felt leaves from the Prima Donna Petals Die-namics set.
The inside is simply stamped with a sentiment from the PI Good Fortune stamp set and then I used the same On the Bright Side Two papers to decorate the inside. I used the Open Scallop Edge Die-namics to create the scallop border, and then sewed around the borders.
Be sure to stop by Kim's blog for a list of all the designers playing along in this week's Wednesday Stamp Club challenge!
Here are the Die-namics I used on today's card:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
