handmade flower

Hi! Today's card uses Weekend Sketch Challenge #84 and a very fun distressed flower that I've seen on othe blogs. I love this look! You can see a tutorial on Dawn's blog. I only had time for a quick card today, so I grabbed some scraps of Maine Blueberry paper which were still sitting on my desk from yesterday's card (sorry for using the same paper twice in a row, lol!).

Ok, I better get going - lots of housework has to get finished, it's been ignored LONG enough!

Have a fantastic day,
Karen

recipe -
stamps: short & sweet
ink: not quite navy
paper: not quite navy, bashful blue, old olive, whisper white cardstock, maine blueberry dsp
accessories: small/large oval punches, latte buttons, linen thread, stampin' dimensionals

  6. Great job on the homemade flower. I'll excuse the reuse of the same paper because these cards are awesome! Don't tell anyone, but I do the same thing. :)
