birthday wishes

It's Thursday and time for Kristina's color challenge! This week was a doozy - Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Regal Rose, and Whisper White. Since I don't have any In Colors yet, I substituted Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss for Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive. I created the embossed frame by running my card through the Cuttlebug using the embossing mat. I love the look it gives and I have always wanted to try it.

That's it for today - gotta run and get Avery ready for soccer practice. Where does the day go!?

Edited: I have had some questions about embossing with the Nestibilities dies. Nichole Heady has a great tutorial at her blog, here. It has information at the top, but scroll down and you'll see the tutorial. I hope this will be helpful!
