MFT New Product Tour

It's time!!  All of the new stamps and Die-namics are now available at the MFT Boutique!  I'm sharing a card using Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings.

I started with a pack of Paper Heart 6x6 paper from Crate Paper and then stamped this fabulous quote directly on the graph paper from the pack.  I used the Mini Double Dot Border Die-namics underneath the Sno Cone Ribbon and layered everything on Black Licorice Card Stock.  The layout is MOJO271.

I stamped another sentiment from the set inside the card as well and left plenty of room for a personal note.

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for a complete list of all the new stamps, Die-namics, and Replenishments!

I love the Die-namics Feature - it's so fun to let these beautiful dies do all the talking!  I kept my layout clean and simple and used the Snowflake Doily Die-namics as the background and then layered Circle STAX Die-namics over the top along with a Winter Rose Die-namics.  I used the new Open Hexagon Borders Die-namics in Sno Cone Card Stock and then finished with a sentiment from Pure Innocence Warm Wishes.

I kept the inside of the card simple as well - I used the Mini Double Dot Border Die-namics and then stamped the sentiment on a Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics.

Welcome to day SIX of MFT Teasers!  Today, we're showing a little sneak of Pure Innocence Thanks Snow Much.

I thought I'd use this adorable snow man for a wintery thank you note.  I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then stamped him on some Winter Wonderland 6x6 paper from My Mind's Eye so I could paper piece his scarf.  I colored him with Copic Markers and then cut him out with a new Postage Stamp STAX Die-namics.  I added the Snowflake Doily Die-namics underneath and stamped the sentiment on the smallest Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics and finished it with a Sno Cone Button.

I stamped another sentiment inside the card along with some Wild Cherry snow flakes.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 172 Winner

Good morning  friends!  I hope you are enjoying your wonderful weekend - we were supposed to get snow last night, but alas, there is NO snow on my grass.  I really love the snow, but we'll just have to wait a little longer I guess.

It's time to announce the next Guest Sweet Sunday Stamper and I am SO proud of you all for trying this sketch - it was a little tricky and out of the norm for me as well.  You all blew me away with your cards!  Here are 5 of my favorites:

Joan used some bold patterned paper on cream card stock for this beautiful card.  LOVE the red snowflake - yum!

Sherry's card brings back memories of warmer weather and beautiful spring blooms - I really love the pop of color against the black paper background.

I love the way LeAnne used vellum for her sentiment and popped up a little something sweet on each of the little squares.  So clever!

Danielle added her sweet personal touch on her card.  I really like the added twine and cute twill ribbon tag.

I love Amber's glittery snowflake and zigzag stitching.  Her wavy sentiment flag is darling!

And the winner is....

Danielle!

Congrats, Danielle!  I'll be contacting you shortly with the next sketch and your guest stamper badge.

Thanks again to everyone who played along this week.  Don't forget, there is still time to enter your card for SSSC173, which ends Friday night.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to day FIVE of MFT Teasers!  Today, we're showing a little sneak of Ã  la modes You're My Cup of Tea.

Don't you just love her?!  Sometimes I wish I had a mug that big - I have those mornings.  I did lots of paper piecing with her today - I started by stamping her twice on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then again on some scraps of Sweet Day 6x6 papers from Echo Park.  Before gluing all the pieces together, I colored her with Copic Markers and also used some W Copics to shade in the patterned pieces.  I cut the image out with a Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics and then added a couple Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics along the side with a little Hot Fudge Button.  The layout is Retro Sketches RS #40.

I stamped the sentiment on another Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics and then sewed it onto the border of the card.
