Welcome to day FIVE of MFT Teasers!  Today, I'm showing a little sneak of Have Hope and coordinating Support Hope Die-namics.

I adore a card with lots and lots of layers and texture and I had fun putting this one together.  I started with a 5x5 card base in Sweet Tooth Card Stock and then used patterned paper from a Love Struck 6x6 paper pack from We R Memory Keepers.  I love the pink and green.  I cut out Pink Lemonade and Gumdrop Green rectangles with a Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and then embossed them with embossing folders.  They are layered over a Oval Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics die and then I added the cute bra over all the layers.  I used both the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the new Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics for the sentiment and then added some Pretty Posies Die-namics in white with the very ends of the small Framing Flourishes Die-namics die.  I added a Pink Lemonade Button on each flower and finished them with some thread.  The layout is Sweet Stop's SSS179.

I used the same banner theme for the sentiment on the inside of the card as well -

Taylored Expressions | Stamp & Send Challenge

In honor of World Card Making Day, Taylored Expressions has decided to host a month-long party filled with ultra fun challenges and prizes called the Stamp n' Send Challenge!

What is Stamp n' Send? Well, let's start by asking how many of you have a ton of fab cards that you've made just languishing on your craft table? We want you to create and SEND those cards out! Each week, we'll host a new challenge in the Taylored Expressions Member Forum at Splitcoaststampers.com. For every card you make AND send (we're trusting you to actually get those cards in the mail) you'll be entered into a drawing for a spiffy prize. Plus, for EVERY entry, you will be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize package worth $100 to help you make more cards! If you missed a challenge, no worries...simply

All challenge details will be available on the Taylored Expressions WCMD Stamp n' Send Challenge thread at Splitcoaststampers.com. Plus, look for details on how you can earn an extra entry by displaying the challenge badge on your blog!

Has someone you know done something totally sweet for you, however, small? Did you thank them? We are challenging you to send some unexpected gratitude to someone who deserves it! To help you out, we've got a gorgeous color combination from our very own Baker's Dozen color diva, Charmaine Ikach! You know her from her fab blog, Oodabug Alley and she's come up with a wonderful combination of colors to get you started.

So, to be entered into this week's challenge prize drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate to the Taylored Expressions Store , simply follow these challenge requirements:
  • Use Charmaine's Color Combination and create a THANK YOU card
  • SEND your card to someone who is NOT expecting a thank you card
  • Come back to this thread and leave a comment telling us who you sent your card to, along with a photo of your card or a link to a photo of your card
It's that easy! For EVERY card you create following the challenge requirements, you will be entered into this week's prize drawing. PLUS, for EVERY entry, you will also be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for an amazing prize package worth $100!

I made a card for Charmaine's challenge and used A Bushel & a Peck.

I stamped the basket in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Choice Buttercream Card Stock and then masked the top of it so I could stamp the flowers over the top.  I colored the image with Copic markers and then added a sentiment from Daisy Bouquet on a Mini Tags Die and tied it with some thread. The layout is Jen Shults' DS73.

I hope you'll join in on all the fun!  Don't forget to check out the Color Me Thankful Challenge thread for all the details.  Now go Stamp n' SEND!

Welcome to day FOUR of MFT Teasers!  Today, I'm showing a little sneak of Thankful Leaves and the coordinating Fall Leaves Die-namics.

I went the CAS route tonight and let the bold red really stand out.  I started with a 5x5 card base in Whip Cream Card Stock.  I stamped the scripted background in Memento Desert Sand ink and then trimmed around the edges to cut it to size.  I matted it with some Hot Fudge Card Stock and then layered that on some Kraft Card Stock.  The leaf is cut out using a Fall Leaves Die-namics and then I stamped it in Real Red ink (the veins are stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa).  The flags along the side are made from the new Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics and then I added some Hemp Cord with a Hot Fudge Button.  The layout is Retro Sketches #32.

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for a complete list of designers playing along in today's Teaser.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 168 Winner

Good morning!  Have you had a good week?  The weather is getting much cooler here, thank goodness, and I've been enjoying those cool, crisp mornings.  Of course, the kids have a different opinion of those cool, crisp mornings when they need to wear jackets and mittens as the scooter themselves to school, but I love the chill in the air.  Hey, they get to scooter back from school when it's 70+ degrees, so it's all good.

It's time to announce who the next Sweet Sunday Guest Stamper is for SSSC170.  But before I do, here is a peek at 5 of my favorites:

June made this sweet card with so much texture and detail.  I love the embossed background and little glossy ladybug!

Mindy's card is so clever with the stars punched out of the white card stock and the patterned paper peeking through from the background.

Arielle's sweet and simple style really works with this sketch and I adore her cut out sail boat and fun color scheme.

Joanne put the sentiment front and center with this cute card - the button accent is darling!

And Jessie's card is perfect for the season and I adore the twine wrapped around the top and the darling paper pieced shirt.

And the winner is....

Mindy!
I just loved how you used the negative image of the stars - so brilliant!  Congrats!  I'll be contacting you shortly with the next sketch and your guest stamper badge.

Thanks again to everyone who played along this week.  Don't forget, there is still time to enter your card for SSSC169, which ends next Friday night.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to day THREE of MFT Teasers!  Today, I'm showing a little sneak of Seasonal Sentiments, which is the Triple Scoop set for September.

The Triple Scoop reward is a full-sized stamp set offered to you absolutely FREE with a qualifying purchase of $60 or greater (before shipping and tax).  The set changes with each monthly release, and is not yet available for individual purchase, so there is always a good reason to spoil yourself with MFT!
  • Simply add the Triple Scoop product to your cart using the add to cart button, and it will be shipped with your order.
  • The Triple Set set can be combined with our Cherry on Top promotion as well for even greater savings!
  • PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to add Triple Scoop sets to your order once it is placed.  You will not receive it unless it is added to your cart.

I created a pieced-together look for the sentiment today.  I stamped the sentiment 3 times - once in Brilliance Graphite Black Ink on a Layered Label Die-namics, and again in Memento Bamboo Leaves and Real Red.  I cut out the green banner and red star and paper pieced them to the original sentiment in black.  I added some Let It Snowflake Die-namics for a fun, wintery accent.

The inside is stamped simply with another sentiment from the set.
