MFT Wednesday Stamp Club

** Please scroll down or CLICK HERE for the Verve Inspiration Hop **

Hello!  It's Wednesday, and that means it's time for another fun sketch challenge from MFT!  Here's a look at the sketch:

 I have another sneak peek for you this morning - meet Pure Innocence Stirrup Some Fun!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card Stock and then fussy cut the image so I could pop it up over the horizontal stripe.  I cut out a Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics in Smooth White Card Stock and then stamped a MPD Distressed Background Blocks in Grout Gray Ink.  The background is stamped with the new Wood Plank Background stamp in Kraft Ink and then I added the sentiment on a Sentiment Strips 2 Die-namics

Verve Divas Inspiration Hop {March}

Welcome to Verve's March Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time! This month we've got a fabulous challenge that's sure to put a string in your step! So in addition to a comment prize hidden along the hop, you can play along with the challenge and link up your creation for a chance to win another prize!

Our March challenge is Spring Has Sprung:

It's time to ditch the winter blues! Create a card that sings Spring using inspirational quotes, pretty colors and florals or themes that celebrate new life. Whether you draw inspiration from the graphic or blaze your own trail, just show us what spring means to you!

I love these beautiful blooms in Dream Big and used the coordinating Scalloped Flowers Die Set to bring these happy yellow blooms to life.

I was inspired by this week's MOJO335.  I layered the yellow flowers over a few Dreamy Leaves Dies and then popped the flower up over the Occasion Frame Die.  I stamped the banner with one of the Bountiful Backgrounds images.  Love those dots!

Need a little inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what the other Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines.

I absolutely love, LOVE these image building stamps - aren't these flowers gorgeous? I cut out the Easter Bunny Die-namics in Smooth White Card Stock and then stamped the leaves in Factory Green Ink.  The flowers are stamped in Berrylicious and the centers in Black Licorice.  No masking needed here. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC209 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

I have a fairly gender neutral card for you this week, using Chalkboard Greetings from My Favorite Things.

I started by cutting out the Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics in Grout Gray Card Stock and layered it over a sheet of Blu Raspberry Card Stock.  The sentiment is stamped in Black Licorice Ink, which I stamped over a subtle Distressed Backgrounds.  I used a Mix & Match Banners Die-namics in Black Licorice Card Stock for the little tab along the side.  Easy peasy!

Be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers have created for you this week:
