I absolutely love these bold paintbrush images from Jumbo Abstract Art and I'm all over the rainbow color pattern too.

I started with a Smooth White Card Stock background and then stamped several of the brushstroke images in all the rainbow colors.  To break up the stripes, I used the splatter images in Grape Jelly Ink, overlapping the other colors.  I stamped the sentiment stamps from Get Well Wishes in Black Licorice Ink right over the top of all those fun colors.  I added a few rhinestones to add a sparkly accent.

Tonight I inked up a new set from Mona Pendleton Designs - MPD Sophisticated Snowflakes.  I love how delicate these snowflakes are and I went with a soft color combo for them.

I started by cutting out a Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics in Smooth White Card Stock and then stamped a few snowflakes in Sno Cone and Pink Lemonade Ink.  I grabbed a sentiment from LJD Snowflake Splendor and overlapped it with the large snowflake.  I added some stripes from Striped Backgrounds in Sweet Tooth Ink and then tied a big Pink Lemonade Ribbon around the card.  The layout for this card is FTL264 from Clean & Simple Stamping.

I'm starting off this countdown with another gorgeous set from Lisa Johnson Designs - LJD Vintage Frames.

I started with a card base in Smooth White Card Stock and then cut out the Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics and layered it over the top of the card base.  I love the embossed look it gives the background; it's a beautiful way to dress up plain card stock.

I cut out the LJD Vintage Frame Die-namics and then stamped the frame in Berrylicious Ink and then the sentiment inside is stamped in Steel Grey Ink.  I popped it up over a couple Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and then added the Layered Vine Border Die-namics in Gumdrop Green Card Stock.  The little flowers are the scalloped center of the Hybrid Camellia Flower Die-namics, which I accented with a pink pearl.  The layout is CTS #52 from CAS(E) this Sketch.

Verve Divas Inspiration Hop {November}

Welcome to Verve's November Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time. We love to get our Verve inky around here, whether they're hot off the presses, or a little worn around the edges. So today you'll see Diva creations to inspire you with both old and new Verve! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, one lucky commenter along the hop will win Verve's October Release Collection! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the details.

And since the holidays are just around the corner, Verve has a little holiday sale going on through November 26!

If you are following the hop, then you have arrived here from seeing the ever so fabulous, Jessica.

I feel like I am so far behind in getting birthday cards made.  The kids start school and the birthday party invites start pouring in!  Luckily, this cutie was super easy to make.  I grabbed some All About a Boy 6x6 papers from Echo Park and this week's MOJO318 sketch and got to it.

I started by stamping Happy Birthday to YOU in black ink on my green tag and then stamped the little cupcake from With Love in green ink off to the side of the sentiment.  I was going to color it in, but decided it looked pretty good just as an outlined image.  I used the Pennant Trim Die to give the chevron strip a little pop and then added the Arrow Die with the polkadot image from Brighter Days on top of the tag.  I switched out the hearts in the sketch for some stars.

There is so much more to see from the other Verve Divas, so be sure to stop by and see what Sankari has whipped up for you today - she is next on the hop.
