Good morning! Oh my goodness, I have some fun projects to show you today featuring new sets from TE -
Woodland Winter & Moka Betty! Now before I show off these fun little sets, you should know that TE has put together 2 Project Pantry Kits to make all of those Holiday projects a snap to put together. When you want to bake up a yummy dessert you head to your pantry for the
ingredients. When you want to create a sweet papercrafting project,
you can head to our Project Pantry for all the coordinating elements.
We've found that some of the best cake and cookie recipes are the ones
based around a basic batter or dough recipe with lots of options to
spice it up according to your tastes. Taylored Expressions is offering
our Basic Recipe Kit along with optional Spice It Up Ingredients that
you can pick and choose from to build the kit just the way you want it.
I'm using the
12 Days Project Pantry for my items today and this amazing kit is only $11.95 and offers:
My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas 6x6 pad
12 sheets of 8.5" x 11" cardstock in coordinating colors
6 yards of ribbon (2 yards each of 3 different styles)
Optional Spice it Up Ingredients (choose any or all) are:
- Christmas Button Mix
- Doodlebug Holiday Brads
- Rockin' Pink Sparkly Fluff
- Rhinestones (Red, Split Pea, Island Lagoon)
- Coordinating Copic Markers
- Additional Cardstock Pack
- Additional Ribbon Bundle
My first project features Woodland Winter, which is illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink Collection and is a full set of 21 delightful images. All of the TE stamps are cling-mount rubber and are deeply etched to give you sharp, detailed images.
When I first saw this set, I was inspired to make an artwork frame for my parent's cabin, and these darling images make such a wonderful scene that is SO perfect to go in the "bunk bed room" where all the kids stay when we visit. I stamped all the images in
Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them with lots and lots of
Copic markers (which I used and put away without noting the colors I picked, sorry about that). I cut out all of the images by hand, but the sweet pine trees - those are made with a set of Taylored Dies called
Trim The Tree that work as a build a tree and also as one solid tree image. So easy and SO cute! I cut out some snowy hills and then accented them with zig-zag stitches and then layered everything on this 5x7 frame, which I picked up from Big Lots a few years ago.
Here are some close-up shots and you can click on the image to see a larger view:
Next up is another darling Moka - Betty. Betty is whipping up some Holiday treats for us and Nancy McKinney has created another must-have Moka!
I told you she was darling! I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black in and colored her with Copics and again, all the papers and ribbon are from the
12 Days Project Pantry Kit. I used Jen Del Muro's
October Sketch For You to Try as the layout and then added the sentiment flag, complete with
Island Lagoon Rhinestones.

I have another very special stamp set to tell you about, and I know
you'll see fabulous samples with it on some of the other Baker's Dozen
blogs:
Moka Hope. As you probably know, October is breast
cancer awareness month. Taylored Expressions will donate $1 from the
sale of each Moka Hope set to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
TE is also a proud sponsor of the
Hope You Can Cling To
card drive over on Splitcoast and we encourage everyone to participate
in the challenges during October and donate their cards to the UT MD
Anderson Cancer Center.
This
little set is perfect for all types of encouragement cards and while it
was designed with breast cancer in mind, her ribbon can be customized
to any color for any cause or disease.
I used the following Taylored Dies on my projects:
The Baker's Dozen have much more for you to see today, so stop on by and see:
