Just For You!

Happy, happy Friday!!  Hello!  I have a little something for you today from There She Goes - isn't she sweet?  This little cutie is from Pumpkins On the Vine, which is a super cute set for all of your fall and Halloween projects.  I just fell in love with this little girl.  I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the masked over her boots and stamped the leaves.  She's colored with Copic markers and I added a little blue around her to make her pop out from the paper just a bit.  I added the sentiment, which is from Make a Wish and cut it out using a Spellbinders Ribbon Trio die.  The sketch is from the fabulous Jen Shults - DS17 and the papers are Lost & Found - Sunshine by My Mind's Eye.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - enjoy your Friday and your weekend!

Seize the Cupcake

Howdy!  I had some free time this morning, so I decided to get a little fun stamping in and ink up my Build a Treat set from Taylored Expressions.  Oh yum!  I started by stamping the cupcake bottom in Colorbox Deep Lagoon and the top in Colorbox Dark Brown and then cut them out using the Build a Treat Tops and Bottoms Dies.  I've been dying to use this pink mini rose trim and thought it would look cute along the side.  The cherry is made from pink cardstock with the Tiny Toppers die and I added a little Hot Pink Pearl on top.  The layout is Sweet Stop's SSS125.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 134

Good morning - It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of this post to enter your card. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time), and I'll randomly select one card to feature on my blog on Saturday. So, as long as your card is linked by 10 PM Friday, your card will be in the drawing. Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC134 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

I only had time to make a quick card today and so I grabbed this sweet little owl from Unity called Thinking of Who-o-o!  The papers are Blink of an Eye by My Mind's Eye and I just shaded a bit around the owl with W1 & W3 Copics.  I'm thinking I'll paper piece him next time, that would be cute too.

The Sweet Sunday Stampers have amazing sketch samples to show you today, so stop on by to see:
Thanks for taking on the challenge this week!

Say It With Sparkles!

Good morning!  I'm thrilled to share some exciting news with you -

That's right!  I was a winner for a Card Patterns Sketch Challenge a little while ago and this week I am so lucky to be a guest designer!  It is so fun to be designing with these amazing women - yay!!

Here is the sketch, CPS132 -

Isn't it fun!  Clean and simple and just my style.  Here is my card -

Yesterday was my sweet Katie's 4th birthday and she is all about pink and sparkly and pink, and more pink.  I started by stamping the It's Your Birthday a la Carte stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored it with Copics.  The paper is from the 6x6 Happy Days pack from Echo Park.

I used a Quickie Glue Pen to add the glitter on the letters, and oh my, how it sparkles!!  I also used some border bling to add the fun rhinestone border.  More sparkle for the birthday girl.

Be sure to stop by the Card Patterns Sketch blog to see the design team ideas and join in on the fun this week!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
