TSG152 | Cards for Dad

Have you heard??  It's time to sign up for The Mother of All Blog Hops!!  The hop is on May 12th and 13th and the sign-up deadline is April 30th.  You are all invited to play along, so get on over to see all the details at the There She Goes Blog and sign up today.

It's a new week and that means it's time for a new challenge at There She Goes!  This week our challenge is brought to us by the Trendsetters! We are challenging you to make a card or project for Dad. Whether it is a gift set, scrapbook page, or card, focus on Dads of all kinds!
  • To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project for Dad, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (April 23rd). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
  • By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
  • You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG152 so we can check out your beautiful work!

I was cracking up when I read all of the little sayings in this fun background stamp from Dadisms - seriously - "Don't come running to me if you cut your legs off."  Hahaha!  Is that morbid or what??  Made me think of all the silly things my dad said to us growing up and there are quite a few of them in this set. I stamped the image and the background stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black and then paper pieced his chair with paper from A Walk in the Park from Echo Park. The layout is Clean & Simple Stamping's FTL167.

Hop on over to the There She Goes blog for more Dad inspiration.  Father's Day will be here before you know it, so why not get a jump start?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Karen
