Hello, hello! This week's sketch is inspired by this card by Kristina Werner. I saw it and instantly fell in love with it and I hope you'll enjoy it too!
Today is my daughter's 9th birthday - NINTH! So I made a birthday card for her that isn't at all girly, because she's not at all a girly girl and would rather clean toilets than play princess or dress up in fancy gowns. OK, maybe not clean toilets, but perhaps do homework instead. She had a Scientist themed birthday party complete with lab coat, goggles and a cake that required PVC pipe and dry ice - Love this girl!
By LORi Designs called Birthday Cake (One) and I printed it at a 2" size and colored it with Copics. The papers are Away We Go from My Mind's Eye and I added a few Island Lagoon rhinestones for some 'girly' bling. Be sure to stop by and see What's New at BLD!
stamps: birthday cake (one) digi (by lori designs)
paper: hershey (bazzill), choice buttercream (taylored expressions), away we go (my mind's eye)
accessories: copic markers, island lagoon rhinestones (kaisercraft), circle/large scallop spellbinders, large corner rounder, foam tape
