Sweet Sunday Sketch 156 Winner

Hello!  A funny thing happened to me just now.  I was sitting here all content, coloring my image for the next Sweet Sunday Sketch and then it hit me - hit me like a ton of 6x6 paper packs fell on my head - I haven't picked a winner for the last sketch!  Seriously, what is wrong with me??  How can I forget?  I blame Sarah-Jane.  She distracted me all last week with her gorgeous family.

So, without any more delay, here are 5 of my favorites - in no particular order:

I adore Laura's red roses and polka dot ribbon.  The layers and distressing are fantastic!

Chris' card is so springy and warm.  I love the pearl in the felt flower and soft colors.

I love the colors in Erica's card and the blue typrwritter is so cute!  Love the rolled up papers.

Loving all of the patterns Joanne used in her card, and the cardboard 7 adds so much. Love boy cards!

Shannon's turtle is fantastic!  I love the sponged clouds and those bright papers.  So cute!

The next guest designer will be....

ERICA!

I just loved, LOVED the typewriter with all of that fun curly paper.  How clever is that??  Congrats Erica, I'll be contacting you shortly and keeping my fingers crossed that I am giving you enough time to join us this weekend.

Have a fabulous evening!
Karen

Nancy McKinney has illustrated another gorgeous Petite set in the Bouquet series - this is Daisy Bouquet, a set of 6 stamps for the Whimsical Wishes line.

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copic Markers.  The papers are Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks 6x6 from My Mind's Eye.  This set included sentiments that coordinate perfectly with the new Mini Tags Dies, which is a set of 9 tags in super cute shapes.  I chose a more traditional tag for this card and attached it to the vase with some embroidery floss.   I sewed around the edge of the card and then added a few Black Pearls in the top corner.

Don't forget to stop by and see what the rest of the Baker's Dozen have created for you today:

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club

Hello!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun sketch challenge from MFT!  Here's a look at the sketch:

I made a card using Pure Innocence Cute-a-tude.

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Circle STAX 2 Die-namics and then colored her with Copic Markers.  Her dress is paper pieced with some Double Dutch 6x6 papers from Lily Bee Design.  The flower is the Prima Donna Petals Die-namics and I stamped the sentiment on the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

I stamped the inside simply using another sentiment from the set.

Hop on over to the MFT Blog for a complete list of designers playing along this week.

Here are the Die-namics I used today:

MFT New Product Tour

It's time!!  All of the new stamps and Die-namics are now available at the MFT Boutique!  I'm sharing another card using Who's That Girl Plays Golf.

Who's That Girl has all the fun - and now she's hitting the links!   I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with copics.  I also paper pieced her with some Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 papers from My Mind's Eye. I used SSSC126 for the layout and complimented it with the Squiggle Border Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.  I wrapped some Stone Twine around some Pink Lemonade Ribbon and finished it with a button.

The inside is stamped simply with some stitching.
