Verve Divas Inspiration Hop {December}

Welcome to Verve's December Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's time for the Divas to serve up some fresh inspiration with their Verve stamps! Leave some comment love along the hop spots for a chance to win a prize, then grab some stamps and play along with our December inspiration challenge for another chance to win!

This month's challenge is entitled O Christmas Tree:

Ribbons and sparkle and merry galore! Create a card inspired by the decorations of the season!

I thought I'd challenge myself to make a single layer card.  I hope I pulled it off, ha ha!  When I was looking through my Verve stamps for this challenge, I was surprised to see I didn't have a single Christmas set.  How in the world did that happen?!  Time to get creative with the images I had.  I grabbed the leaf images from Dream Big and created a wreath.  I started by stamping the largest leaf image in Fuse Green ink around a circle I traced in pencil.  Then I added the other leaves in darker shades of green, filling in the wreath.  Using the little circle starburst images from Be Blessed, I added some little berries and added a little Glassy Accents to them to make them shine.  The sentiment is part of the Framed Florals set.

Need a little inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what the other Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines!
