Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 198

Good morning!!  It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of this post to enter your card. The links will close in two weeks, next Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC198 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

I thought I'd try something different for me this week and create a little notched cut-out in the sketch.  Now, you don't have to cut out the panel for a negative die cut look, but it sure is kind of fun!  I'm using some goodies from My Favorite Things tonight - mostly featuring MPD Fancy Butterflies Die-namics.

I started with a Sno Cone Card Stock base and then cut out a panel in Steel Grey Card Stock and then stamped a diagonal striped pattern in Steel Grey Ink with one of the Plaid Background Builder stamps.  I stamped the sentiment from MPD Contemporary Roses in Steel Grey Ink and then added some orange sequins for a fun accent.

There is much more inspiration for you!  Please hop on over and see what the fabulous Sweet Sunday Stampers have whipped up:
You can find these fantastic products waiting for you in the MFT Boutique:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  14. Hi Karen,
I made a card using this sketch and it was picked as a favorite at Little Red Wagon this week. Thought you might like to know. It's #34 in your the entries to your challenge.
I had previously commented that I loved this sketch and planned to use it. And I guess someone else loved how I used it. Thanks for the beautiful sketch.
