Verve Divas Inspiration Hop {September}

Welcome to Verve's September Diva Inspirations Hop! It's the 5th of the month and that means it's time for the Verve Divas to breathe new life into some much-loved stamps and dies. And there's a PRIZE up for grabs, so be sure to leave a little shout out in the comment section of each blog as you hop about to be entered in a drawing for a $30 gift voucher to Verve Stamps! Check out all the details about prizes and this month's sale over at the Verve Blog.

If you are following the hop, then you have arrived here from seeing the ever so fabulous, Betty.

It's back to school season, so I think I'll start stocking up on teacher cards for the year.  With 3 kids in elementary school, these sure come in handy for holidays and appreciation weeks.  I inked up Teachers Count for this card.

I started with some of this fantastic Cut & Paste "Presh" 6x6 paper from My Mind's Eye and then on the blue gradient sheet I made my own numbered background paper with the little numbers image from the set.  The quotation is stamped in Steel Grey ink and I cut it out with the Rounded Rectangle Die.  AND how cute is this apple?  I thought it made a cute little accent next to this fabulous quotation.  I used a just a couple of pennants from the Pennant Trim Die along the side and the layout is Jen Shults' DS115.

There is much more to see from the other Verve Divas, so be sure to stop by and see what Sarah has whipped up for you today - she is next on the hop.

And just in case you missed a Diva, here is the hop list so you can catch up:

2. Amy9. Teresa
