MFTeasers | Day 2

Welcome to the second day of Teaser Time for My Favorite Things!  This week is full of inspiration for you AND we have some fun prizes for you too, so be sure to hop on over to the MFT Blog to see how you can win some MFT goodies!

All of these new products will be available for purchase on June 11th @ 10 PM Eastern

I'm inking up this fabulous Blooming Roses stamp set, which is designed by our very own Mona Pendleton!!  Each rose, stem, and leaf has a matching Rose Bouquet Die-namics as well, so cutting out these beautiful blooms is a snap.

I started with Clean & Simple's FTL243 for the layout of my card and then grabbed some summer colors from my card stock drawer.   I ran the set of Rose Bouquet Die-namics through my die cutting machine twice with Smooth White Card Stock and then stamped the leaves in Sour Apple Ink.  The sentiment is LJD Cheerful Blessings, stamped in Black Licorice Ink.

The roses are stamped with two different stamps in two steps.  First I stamped the large, solid part of the flower in Wild Cherry Ink and then stamped the image off on some scrap paper and immediately stamped the flower on the die cut so the ink is much lighter.   The accent stamp is also stamped in Wild Cherry Ink, however I stamped it directly onto the flower without stamping it off first.  Same color, two different shades.  Fun, no?

I used the same stamping technique on the inside of my card and stamped a sentiment from LJD Blissful Butterflies in Black Licorice Ink over the top of the image.

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for a complete list of designers playing along in today's Teaser!
