I have another card using the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch, SSSC186, and there is still time link your project to the original post. Of course, you can play along for as long as you'd like, but the link widget will be gone.
I am trying out the chalkboard technique again, which I adore! Mostly because it looks messy, and is supposed to look messy, so if you mess up your embossing powder, no one is the wiser. See?

I stamped the sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings in white pigment ink and then heat embossed some white embossing powder over it. Then I went back and sponged on more white ink around the sentiment and edges, just random like. I added 3 Flower Medley Die-namics in Whip Cream and Black Licorice Card Stock and then added some Liquid Pearls in the center.
I added a Heart STAX Die-namics on the inside of my card to compliment the sentiment from You Make My Day, which I stamped in Black Licorice Ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope you enjoy your day! Here's a peek at the products I used for my card, which are available in the MFT Boutique:

recipe -
stamps: chalkboard greetings (mft), you make my day (mft)
paper: whip cream (mft), black licorice (mft), the sweetest thing - tangerine 6x6 (my mind's eye)
ink: white pigment (su!), black licorice (mft)
accessories: circle stax 1 & 2 die-namics (mft), fishtail flags layers stax die-namics (mft), flower medley die-namics (mft), heart stax die-namics (mft), white embossing powder, bisque liquid pearls (ranger), sewing machine, thread, foam tape
Love the colors--so soft and pretty!

Wonderful card! Like the colors, papers, flowers, chalkboard greeting. Nice! TF the comment about messing up the white emb on black. I do that all the time and never thought to "call" it the chalkboard "technique." Heehee! Good observation! :)
