Welcome to day ONE of MFT Teasers!  Today, we're showing a little sneak of Pretty Poppies from Lisa Johnson Designs.

Oh sweet poppy heaven!!  I love, love, love this set from Lisa and today I wanted to make a pretty clean and crisp card.  I started with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card base using a new MFT color - Electric Red Card Stock.  So delish!  Then I added all sorts of elements, all from the new Blueprints 1 Die-namics set, which includes so many layout-building elements to make your creativity come alive - I love this new concept.  Everything you see on my card, except the poppy flower, were cut out using the Blueprints 1 Die-namics.  Such a snap!  PLUS, MFT has created 4 card layouts for you to download from the website when all these fun products are available to purchase.  These sketches will make it even easier to create beautiful cards and inspire your creativity.  I started with the Kraft Card Stock matte, then added the Sweet Tooth scalloped rectangle.  I cut out another sheet of Kraft with the frame elements and then stamped the script in Kraft Ink.  I stamped the sentiment on Sweet Tooth card stock on one of the tag elements and tucked it under the poppy.

Now, let me tell you about this gorgeous Poppy Builder Die-namics.  MFT has put together a beautiful tutorial, which you can view HERE, and you can see all the different size poppies you can make with the set.  I cut out the petals in Electric Red Card Stock and the center was cut from some Black Licorice Card Stock.  I used dimensional tape between the layers to make it more dimensional.

I decorated the inside of my card as well, using the same elements from the Blueprints 1 Die-namics set and then stamped one of the poppies from Pretty Poppies in Electric Red Ink on a coordinating Poppies and Leaves Die-namics and the stem in Gumdrop Green Ink, then stamped the sentiment underneath the ribbon element.  I stamped the same script on the red strip, which is difficult to see in the photo, but I love the look of it.

Be sure to stop on over and see all the details about today's Teaser on the MFT Blog, were you can find a complete list of all the designers playing along today.

Here is a peek at the new Die-namics I used on my card:
