Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek | Day 2

** This is my second post this morning, please scroll down or CLICK HERE for my MFT post **

Good morning!  The Baker's Dozen Design Team is hosting a pre-release peek of all the new Taylored Expressions sets and dies that will be available in the TE Store Thursday, November 8th!  Woot!  Taylor is throwing a special Preview Party over on the TE Facebook Page TONIGHT at 6PM PDT - there are prizes available, so you will definitely want to join in on all the fun!

Today I have 2 projects for you and first, I have a little peek of Spectacular!, a set of 27 images and sentiments - from the Whimsical Wishes line by Nancy McKinney - designed for quick and fun everyday cards.   This set also has a coordinating die set, Spectacles Dies, which  includes 4 eyeglasses dies.  I've created a little set of 4-1/4" cards:

As soon as I saw these little glasses dies I knew I had to make one with tape around the nose - haha!  I love it!  I cut the glasses out in both black card stock and Choice Snow White card stock and then snipped the nose of the glasses off in the white and glued it to the black glasses.  The sentiment is absolutely perfect for these spectacles, don't you think?

Here is a view of the individual cards:

Next up is a spotlight on Handmade Charms, a set of 7 dies which coordinate perfectly with the new set, Totally Tags - Homemade and the previously released set, Crafty Expressions.

I started by stamping the sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then cut it out with a Labels Stacklets 2 Die and layered it under the new Lace Chain Border Die.  I added one of the Handmade Charms Dies to some hemp cord and then added a little note using the Mini Tags Dies and new sentiment set, Many Minis - Occasions. The papers are The Sweetest Thing - Lavender 6x6 from My Mind's Eye and the layout is Jen Shults' DS75.

On the back of the card, I used Signature Style. Every one should sign the back of their stamped creations and this sampler set (with illustrations from all of the TE designers) gives you a multitude of ways to do that. No matter what style of card or project you've created, we have a coordinating image to help you leave your mark!  How fun is that?

Don't forget to hop on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen blogs for more sneeks!
