Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peek

Good morning!  The Baker's Dozen Design Team is hosting a pre-release peek of all the new Taylored Expressions sets and dies that will be available in the TE Store Thursday, August 9th!  Woot!  Taylor is throwing a special Preview Party over on the TE Facebook Page on Wednesday, August 8th at 6PM PDT - there are lots of prizes available, so you will definitely want to join in on all the fun!

Today, I'm giving you a special sneak of a new Apple Doodle Ink set - Happy Trails, which is illustrated by the amazingly talented Doug Applegate. This set is all about camping in style - retro style!

I started by stamping the fire pit and mountains in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Choice Buttercream Cardstock and then I stamped the mountains again on a sheet of Away We Go 6x6 Paper from My Mind's Eye and paper pieced them over the cloud background paper.  I added some Moonlight Smooch for the snow capped peaks (about 3 coats).  I colored the fire pit with Copic Markers and then popped it up over the sentiment on Kraft Cardstock.
