Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 112

Good morning - It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of this post to enter your card. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time), and I'll randomly select one card to feature on my blog on Saturday. So, as long as your card is linked by 10 PM Friday, your card will be in the drawing. Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC112 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

While I was cleaning out my craft area and getting old items ready to donate and trash (GASP!), I came across some of these Sweet Pea felt flowers from SU!  that I had somehow forgotten about.  It's like new stuff!  They became my "stars" for this card, hehe.  I absolutely love how this little Pure Innocence girl turned out - I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black and paper pieced the dress and colored the rest with Copics.  The patterned paper is Stella & Rose Hazel (naturally) and I just added a few twill tape tags under the panel.  Super easy card!

The Sweet Sunday Stampers have amazing sketch samples to show you today, so stop on by to see:
Thanks for taking on the challenge this week!
Karen

recipe -
stamps: make mine a double (my favorite things)
paper: aqua mist (papertrey ink), kraft, choice buttercream (taylored expressions) cardstock, stella & rose hazel (my mind's eye)
ink: memento tuxedo black
accessories: sweet pea felt flowers (su!), ivory twill tape, rectangle/scallop nestabilities (spellbinders), copic markers, dimensional tape

I do have your name though and will try to get it linked back to you a little later in the day. Hope you are having a good one. Thanks for the awesome sketch.

  10. Why is it that your interpretation of the sketch is always so damn perfect!? Oh wait - maybe it's because you INVENT the sketch?? duh. But seriously, this is awesome. I love it.
