warm welcome

Good morning! I've made a little quick and easy project for you today - a little basket for overnight guests, filled with personal essentials. I made this little basket for guests who will visit over Christmas and included a personalized Christmas card to welcome them into our home.

For the card, I'm using MOJO107 for the sketch. I inked up the dove from Christmas Blessings in Riding Hood Red ink and used Nestabilities to cut out the circles and scalloped circles. To add a little texture, I layered some Certainly Celery wide grosgrain ribbon over some 1" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon. I really love the way the stitched ribbon frames the smaller ribbon - it adds so much warmth to the card. The paper is SEI's Christmas Mint, which is the most delicious Holiday paper I've seen - it's just beautiful!
