sweet sunday sketch challenge #17

Good morning - It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use Mr. Linky down at the end of my post to enter your card. On Thursday at 2 PM (Mountain Time), I'll randomly select one card to feature on my blog. So, as long as your card is linked in the Mr. Linky box by 2 PM Thursday, your card will be in the drawing. Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC17 if you plan to post your card at SplitcoastStampers.

I've used this layout quite a bit lately and so it only seems fitting to use it for a sketch challenge. My sketch is for a standard A2 (4-1/4 x 5-1/2) card, but I trimmed my card down to a 4-1/4 square. I think this Riding Hood Red patterned paper from the Candy Lane pack is my absolute favorite right now, so I started my card around that and found the Basic Gray and Basic Black compliment Riding Hood Red so perfectly.

I was asked if I like my new photo tent, and the answer is a giant YES! It has made a huge difference in the brightness and crispness of my photos and it turns out to be a big time saver too. I don't have to take as many pictures because the first couple are always very clear. Blogger seems to distort the pictures when I upload them, so if you need to see it more clear, just click on the photo. AND, since I do most of my stamping late, late at night, I don't have to wait until daylight to get my posts ready. Anyway, just my 2 cents (or maybe 10) for you today...

Have fun with this one!
Karen

Mr. Linky is closed, but I would still like to see what you come up with - leave a comment with a link to your blog so I can take a peek. Come back Sunday for a new sketch!

  1. Hi Karen. I was just thinking about getting a photo tent and new camera. The only chance I get to create is at night time and then I'm so anxious to show my cards, that I can't wait until the morning lol. Anyways, what kind of camera do you have? Your photos look very crisp. Thanks in advance. Take care.
