Well since I had Nursery Necessities sitting on my desk, I just had to use it again for this card too! I colored the boat with my Stampin' Write Markers - Ruby Red, Bashful Blue, and Not Quite Navy - and used Taylor's TECC67 for the layout. I just love these colors together for boy cards and I need to use them more! My math-major-self wanted to keep that boat at a 90 degree angle though, that was tough keeping it askew, haha! That's the reason I love sketch challenges, it keeps me out of my box.

Ok, I'm off to clean off the desk - it's a little frightening!

recipe -
stamps: nursery necessities
ink: stampin' write markers - bashful blue, not quite navy, ruby red
paper: not quite navy, ruby red, very vanilla cardstock, old retired dsp
accessories: so saffron 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, rectangle & labels 1 nestabilities (spellbinders), scallop edge punch, stampin' dimensionals

  1. I love the colours you've used Karen.

  2. So fresh & clean! Love the color combo :-)

  3. Very cute, I love the non-pastel colors you've used.....just great!

  4. Very classic and I love the tipped boat! I never would've thought to try that.
