MFT Wednesday Stamp Club

Hello!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun sketch challenge from MFT!  Here's a look at the sketch:

I made a card using Pure Innocence Gymnast Girl.

I didn't have a chance to ink up this cutie up during Teaser week, so she's making her big debut on my blog today.  I cut out some white cardstock with a Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics and then stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.   I used the new Sentiment Strips Die-namics for the sentiment and layered some red paper underneath.  A little Sweet Tooth Button accent with Buttercream Twine does the trick for the circle element in the corner.

I stamped her again on the inside with another little sentiment and then added some zigzag stitching, of course.

I made 2 cards for today's tour - first up is Pure Innocence Picture Perfect:

I started by stamping her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on cream cardstock and then colored her with Copic Markers.  I used Kraft Cardstock for the base of the card and then the patterned paper is Nostalgia from My Mind's Eye.  I added an arrow from the Lead the Way Die-namics set in patterned paper and Kraft cardstock and then added some teal pearls for an accent on the frame.  The layout is MOJO249.

The inside is stamped again with the image and then I used another Lead the Way Die-namics die to use with the sentiment.

My next card showcases Pure Innocence Piggy Bank.

I used Nostalgia papers for this card as well and stamped this sweet PI in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, too.  I gave her some teal pearl ponytail holders and added some stitching around the borders.  The sentiment is stamped on Kraft cardstock on a Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics, which I placed upside down and sewed onto the image panel.  I also added two Kraft Buttons with some natural twine. The layout is MFTWSC80.

I used the Lead the Way Die-namics on the inside for the sentiment and then added more stitching along the borders.

It seems like it's been forever since I've stamped or posted something new for you - I've taken a bit of time away with my family and we've been having a blast.  This week, it's back to crafty fun!

For my card today, I've used the Taylored Expressions July Key Ingredients Kit, which is packed full of fabulous sticker elements, which makes creating beautiful cards a snap!  I just used one stamp on this card.

I love how quickly this card came together - the Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two 6x6 papers are so darling together.  I stamped the sentiment from Make it Amazing on some Choice Buttercream cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and then took my ticket corner punch and rounded out the corners.  The main image is one of the Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two sticker elements, which I added to some cardstock and used a small corner rounder to soften the corners.  A couple of button stickers in the corner and a delightful bow finish the card perfectly.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 161 Winner

Hello!  What a week it has been - I've really enjoyed looking over all of the DT submissions as well as the cards that are in it just for fun.  I am just blown away by the amount of entries - wow!!  The new members of the team have been selected and I'll be announcing who those beautiful ladies are next week when SSSC163 goes live, but this week, I have a Guest Stamper to announce.  Woot!  I couldn't narrow my picks down to just 5 favorites, so here are 10:

 Julie Dinn created this gorgeous card, complete with lush layered hibiscus flowers.  Can you smell the ocean air?  I can!  I love her little paper pieced swim suit and flower in her hair. 

Katie Skiff made this fabulous ALOHA card (I'm sensing a theme here) with beautiful summer colors and I love the way she used the patterned papers. 

 Debbie Carriere combined stars and buttons for her adorable card.  I love those delicious layered clouds and how she added the little sentiment along the side.

 Kim O'Connell's coloring is just out of control amazing - look at her hair!  The bright colors and bold patterns are just perfect together.

 Speaking of amazing Copic skills, Jen Shults created this gorgeous card.  I adore the pink and craft and how she made her own little doodle border.

Pam Speidel's patriotic card won me over with all of the star elements and the little button extras.  I adore the little sentiment pinned on the star with the button and twine.

 Sheri Gilson created a fun, summery card and I can't help but love the orange embossed papers with the adorable button flower.  Yum! 

 Joanne Basille brings her cute style on this darling card.  I love Joanne's big loopy bows!

 Shannon White brings out her birthday best with this adorable image.  I love how she cut it out and popped it up over the polka dot paper.  So cute!

Sarah Klass created this soothing scene with hot air balloons and patterned grass.  Love the little hearts with the sentiment too.
