It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of this post to enter your card. The links will close in two weeks, next Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC185 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.
I have a little change in the challenge and I will be discontinuing the guest stamper part of the challenge. I hope you won't be too upset with me, but I'm finding my free time is slipping away from me more and more as the kids are getting involved in activities - I have no free nights anymore. It's crazy. I hope you'll be patient with me and know that I may bring the guest stamper spot back eventually, but for now, I have to let this go.
AND.... I don't have a card for you just yet either. My stamping time has been interrupted more times than I can count this week and so I've come up a bit short. Please forgive me. I'm really lame, I know. Maybe some future blog candy will make up for it??? hehe!
I will have something for you soon, but in the mean time, please hop around and visit the amazing Sweet Sunday Stamper team - they always floor me with their creativity!

Oh my gosh, that's terrible news!!! I always thought having a guest stamper made it easier..?? Lol :))
ReplyDeleteThat way there would always be someone making a card for the following week & you wouldn't always have to make one. I guess that's just what I've seen on other sites. More importantly, I sure hope you get your crafting time back!!! :)) :)) ~~Nicole~~
Fab sketch, Karen! I hope things get easier for you - real life is (apparently!) much more important!

I have two kids so I know what it's like. My kids are now 17 & 20 so I have more time because they are more independent or at least they drive themselves to where they need to go. Enjoy the time with them because later you REALLY will miss it, and then there will be time to craft and color again.
ReplyDeleteLife with kids in activities definitely takes a LOT of time! However, drink deep of these times as they will be gone before you know it.
ReplyDeleteI'm only in it for the fabulous sketches! lol. And I love seeing your cards, but I totally understand, I am behind in my card making this week as well. Thank you for keeping the biweekly sketches coming, I LOVE them!!!
