Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 179

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of this post to enter your card. The links will close in two weeks, next Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC179 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

WANT TO BE A GUEST Sweet Sunday Stamper?  I'll be picking my favorite card or project after each challenge and that winner will have a special guest spot as a designer on a future Sweet Sunday Challenge.  I'm SO excited about this!  You can enter as many different cards as you'd like before the following Friday deadline, so get stampy!

I will be announcing the next Guest Sweet Sunday Stamper later this week, so be sure to check back to see if you will be joining the design team for SSSC180!

This week's sketch was designed by our very own, fabulous Vicki!

I made a card using Big Greetings from My Favorite Things - my son went to a birthday party for one of his classmates yesterday and he asked me to make a card for her.  I hope I did 7-year-old style well?

I started with a Pink Lemonade Card Stock base and then embossed some Gumdrop Green and Sweet Tooth card stock with some polka dots.  I always get hungry for a snack when I type up these card stock colors, haha!  I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice Ink on a Circle STAX 1 Die-namics die and then popped it up over the Award Seal Die-namics.  The fishtail trio was created using the two different sized banners from First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics and I just trimmed the ends.

I stamped another sentiment from Big Greetings inside the card in Black Licorice ink as well and then added some decorative stitching.

The Sweet Sunday Stampers have made some deliciousness for you today too!  Hop on over and see:
You can find these fun products I used today in the MFT Boutique:
